"Kevin and Staff,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your assistance
in helping us with our first annual charity golf tournament. As
you know Golf Galaxy partnered with Express Personnel to sponsor
this year’s tournament. Express Personnel had independently run
this event for the past 10 years. I had been a participant in
the previous tournaments and I can tell you that you and your
team made this charity tournament the best event ever and truly
provided a “one stop source” for everything we needed to make it
a success.
With your help, we were able to raise $104,000 for our charity
from this one day event! This was up from $20,000 - 25,000
raised in prior years. Having our event professionally managed
also saved our Tournament Committee a lot of time and headaches
and made the whole process an enjoyable experience. The event
website you set up with information and online registration was
instrumental in collecting player and sponsor fees while keeping
all parties involved (employees, sponsors, participants) up to
date.
We quickly saw the benefit of working with a “golf specific”
event management company and it obviously made a significant
difference on the amount we were able to donate. Your ideas and
suggestions for additional ways to raise funds (eg. auction,
raffle, sponsorship options) were especially helpful. The event
planner guide you provided helped us stay on track throughout
the planning process and contributed to a very well organized
volunteer team.
We have received rave reviews from participants and sponsors
since the event and our company is proud to be affiliated with
such an event. As a player in the event, myself, it was very
apparent that every detail had been carefully planned.
On behalf of the entire Golf Galaxy organization, thank you
again and we look forward to working with you again in the
future to manage this great event.
